Oakwood celebrates Evans’ service

Sam Evans had a seat on the city’s planning commission two weeks after moving to Oakwood, and that one step would keep him busy for almost three decades. Twenty-nine years after that first appointment, the resident of the South Hall city was hailed for his work in the community as he ends a generation of public service.
