The Times Sunday edition now includes a section devoted to puzzles, TV grids, columns and entertainment.
The Fun+Games section on pages 1E-4E includes the Sunday Crossword and Sudoku along with Crossword, Sudoku, Jumble and Bridge puzzles that previously published Mondays and Tuesdays. The TV grids for Sunday through Tuesday also are included at the size they previously published along with columns from Jann Blackstone and Carolyn Hax and the Adopt me! feature that previously published in the Life section.
“Puzzles were one of the top concerns we heard from our readers as we made adjustments following the decision to stop publishing print editions Mondays and Tuesdays,” Editor in Chief Shannon Casas said. “We’re thrilled to be able to bring back all of the puzzles in this new section.”
The Life section will now begin with page 1D. Former Times Editor Johnny Vardeman’s column will now appear within that section and John Rosemond’s parenting column is back as well.
Kitchen inspections along with the “In our community” feature also will be included in the Life section.
Editorial and opinion content is now included within the A section, and the business page also continues to publish Sundays.
“With the recent addition of interactive puzzles online at gainesvilletimes.com/puzzles, we now have more puzzles than ever,” Casas said. “These changes showcase our commitment to serving our readers with the features they’ve made a part of their daily routine.”
