North Hall truck terminal proposal tabled until Nov. 5 after residents show up to planning commission
Hall County Government Center

The application of Hulsey Environmental Services to build a truck terminal for about 10 trucks at its facility at 6720 Cleveland Highway in Clermont has been tabled until the Hall County Planning Commission’s Nov. 5 meeting.

A large group of residents showed up Oct. 15 to hear the vote.

Attorney Jim Walters, speaking on behalf of Hulsey, said the company hoped to do some more research and learn about residents’ concerns before moving forward.

Hulsey operates a waste treatment facility at another location, but the trucks would be empty when parked at the Cleveland Highway facility, according to the planning staff report for the proposal.
