Update: North Hall schools declared safe after bomb threat found on wall
PoliceLights

A bomb threat was found written on the walls in a bathroom at North Hall Middle School around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 10

Stan Lewis, Hall County Schools’ director of communications and athletics, said that district personnel believe that a middle school student scribbled the bomb threat, which was directed toward North Hall High School and afternoon activities.

Out of an abundance of caution, Lewis said North Hall High had decided to cancel all of its events on Tuesday.

As of 6:50 p.m., Lewis said the situation involving the bomb threat to North Hall High has been resolved.

“Both North Hall High School and North Hall Middle School campuses are declared safe and clear,” Lewis said.

Hall County Schools is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest of the individual responsible for the bomb threat.
