A Hall County Schools bus was rear-ended by a car at 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to a school spokesman.

The wreck occurred at the intersection of Atlanta Highway and Chattahoochee Street in Flowery Branch.

Public information officer Gordon Higgins said 10 children from West Hall High and West Hall Middle schools were on the bus at the time of the collision. None were injured, he said.

After the wreck, parents were notified and eight of the 10 students were picked up by parents. The remaining children were transported by the school district after law enforcement authorities finished their investigation.
