No students were on a Hall County bus involved in a three-vehicle crash Friday morning on Interstate 985 at the Spout Springs Road exit.

According to Hall County school officials, the bus was struck by a car headed southbound on I- 985 around 6:30 a.m.

“This collision caused the bus to strike another vehicle also headed south on I-985,” assistant transportation director Clay Hobbs wrote in an email. “The bus and the third vehicle then struck the southbound guard cables.”

No injuries were reported as of Friday morning.

“The school bus was driven back to the Hall County bus shop after the accident, while the other two vehicles were towed from the scene,” Hobbs said.
