Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents searched an Oakwood home Wednesday night for evidence of child pornography, authorities said Thursday.

Special Agent John Whitaker said the search warrant was carried out about 6 p.m. at a home on Woodcliff Road. No arrests were immediately made.

Agents seized computers from the home which will be examined by the GBI, Whitaker said. Charges could be pending, he said.

Several people lived at the home and the GBI was not immediately identifying any suspects.

The search was one of three conducted this week as part of ongoing operations by the GBI’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Since January, an estimated 100 search warrants have been served by the task force.
