Ninth District Opportunity in Hall County has received $102.351 in federal funds under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program.

The funds are distributed by a national board through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

A local board consisting of leaders in various local agencies and churches will decide how the funds will be distributed in local food and shelter programs.

Public or private nonprofit agencies (not individuals) interested in applying for funds should submit a request by Feb. 20 to Brenda Dalin at Ninth District Opportunity, Inc., P.O. Drawer L, Gainesville, GA 30501.
