Hall County native and state Department of Juvenile Justice Commissioner Avery D. Niles has been appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal to the nominating committee for the selection of Georgia’s next head of the Office of the Child Advocate. The committee is responsible for finding a successor to Tonya Boga, whose three-year appointment soon will be completed.
