Newsmakers in business: McKibbon IV joins family company as asset manager

J.B. McKibbon IV has joined McKibbon Hospitality as asset manager for McKibbon Family Investment Fund. 

McKibbon is the fourth-generation family member to work for the company, which was founded in 1926 and has grown to become one of the largest and most awarded hotel development and management companies in the country.

McKibbon most recently worked as a senior asset manager for Apple Hospitality REIT, where he consulted with multiple third-party management organizations including Marriott International, InnVentures and True North to ensure strong financial results for their respective Apple-owned portfolios.

McKibbon is a graduate of the Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business with a degree in business management and managerial sciences.
