McKibbon Hospitality has promoted Erik Rowen to president of development and renovation services. In his new role, Rowen will focus on third-party development opportunities.
A registered architect who joined McKibbon Hospitality in 2003 as a project manager, Rowen most recently served as vice president of development.
During his career with McKibbon, Rowen has supported the development of more than 30 projects. He has been recognized for developing award-winning hotels in Little Rock, Arkansas; Greenville, South Carolina; and Pensacola, Tallahassee and Tampa, Florida.
He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and an MBA with a concentration in real estate from Georgia State University.
“Erik has played a critical role in McKibbon Hospitality’s growth and success over the years,” said John McKibbon, chairman of McKibbon Hospitality. “Under his leadership, our teams have overcome complex site challenges and implemented the kind of design innovations that hotel guests, business partners and investors seek.”
