Newsmaker in business: Chateau Elan Golf Resort picks Troon to manage food, beverage

Château Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton has selected Troon to manage the golf and clubhouse food and beverage operations at its Golf Club.

“With their level of expertise in golf management, the decision to partner with Troon came naturally,” said Ed Walls, general manager of Château Elan. “This will continue to expand upon and elevate the exceptional offerings already provided here at Château  Elan.”

The Golf Club includes a front porch and players’ lounge, newly redesigned golf shop and expanded locker rooms. The restaurant has been rebranded as “The Sarazen’s Bar & Grille” and includes a large central bar, open dining room, new 1,053 square-foot back porch for outdoor dining overlooking the 18th green, and “backyard” area with lounge seating and fire pits.
