The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Hall and neighboring counties until 6 p.m. Storms are producing strong winds up to 60 mph, heavy downpours and lightning. The storm was east of Cumming and moving to the southeast at 10 mph. Storms are possible throughout the area tonight and into Friday, but with a clearing trend forecast for the weekend.
