A motorcyclist was critically injured in a wreck Tuesday in northwest Hall County. James Douglas Wilson, 63, of Gainesville was transported to an Atlanta hospital by air ambulance, according to Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle. Wilson was westbound on Ga. 53/Dawsonville Highway when an eastbound 2003 GMC Envoy attempted a U-turn, Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright said.
