A Gainesville man convicted by a jury of fatally shooting another man at Peppers Market in Gainesville in June 2013 had his motion for new trial postponed again Tuesday. Joseph Scott Williams was found guilty of murder in the shooting of Adrian Thompson outside Peppers Market on June 3, 2013. The jury trial concluded June 26, 2014, with Williams sentenced to life in prison without parole.
