Hall County firefighters have put out a fire at a doublewide mobile home off Thompson Bridge Road in Murrayville.

Fire Services Chief David Kimbrell said there was a heavy fire in one room.

No one was at home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.

“An investigator (is) on the way to determine the cause,” Kimbrell said.

Firefighters responded to the home just before 11 a.m. after receiving a call from a worker across the road at the Fieldale Farms Corp. plant, the chief said.
