Mobile home burns in White County

Volunteer members from stations 1 and 6 of the White County Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire on Sugar Ridge Road on Monday morning.

The volunteer firefighters arrived at about 8:30 a.m. to find that the mobile home had been completely destroyed, according to a report from the White County Fire Department.

Ana Newberry, spokeswoman for the department, said the none of the other residents on the street noticed the fire.

The owner was away on a vacation at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.
