A missing Gainesville woman was found safe overnight in Spaulding County.

Montene Mae Morgan was last seen around 7 p.m. Monday. According to her family, she gets confused easily and may have dementia. She is believed to have her dog, a black-and-tan miniature Doberman pincher, with her.

Gainesville police said this morning Morgan has been taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Her family is en route to pick up her and her dog.

Morgan has lived in Gainesville only three weeks and is not familiar with the area. She previously lived in Cartersville.
