Authorities have located a missing 6-year-old after he disappeared for over an hour.

The Gainesville Police Department was notified of the missing chid around 4 p.m. today in the area of Harrison Square Apartments.

After searching the apartment complex and surrounding areas, authorities were able to locate the child.
