Wednesday was the day for Directed Studies’ annual Bug Extravaganza in the media center of North Hall Middle School. Students had to collect at least 25 insects over the summer for the independent study project and research their scientific classifications and names. The event also featured musical presentations as well as entomology presentations by the students and buggy treats to eat.
