The Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District is seeking interested residents from Hall County to serve on three basin advisory councils.
Residents are being sought for the Chattahoochee, Oconee and Lake Lanier basin advisory councils, three of six councils in the 15-county region that will help develop and implement water resources plans for the region. The councils provide valuable input to the Metro Water District’s planning process and related implementation activities by representing the wide variety of stakeholders that rely on the region’s water resources.
Applications are being accepted for members to serve a two-year term beginning in June. Applications are due by May 17.
The application form is available at www.northgeorgiawater.org or by phone at 404-463-3256.
