Mentorship program needs volunteers
Mentors help students succeed in school

If you’re interested in having an impact in the life of a child, now is the time of year to get involved. The Center Point mentorship program is preparing for the new school year, and program director Staci Tunkel said becoming a mentor to a local student takes only one hour per week. “You have to commit to visiting that student every week pretty regularly during the school year,” she said.
