Johnny Hulsey choked up as he led a Memorial Day weekend service Sunday at Rock Creek Veterans Park in Gainesville. “We came home and weren’t really welcome, but we rolled up our sleeves and went to work,” said the tearful Hulsey, representing the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 772 in Gainesville. Remembering war and those who fought in it “are very hard things to do,” he said afterward.
