A Hall County man took a plea deal from aggravated sexual battery to aggravated assault and was given a five-year prison sentence earlier this month, according to court documents.
In the deal, Napoleon Solo Bush, 51, was given a 15-year sentence.
The first five years of that will be behind bars, and the rest may be served on probation.
Bush will receive roughly a year of credit for time previously served.
Attorney Brett Willis declined to comment.
As part of his probation, Bush will be subjected to random drug and alcohol screens from the probation department.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Bush was previously accused of sexually assaulting a woman in January 2018, who then called 911 from a neighbor’s house.
“The investigation revealed that Bush sexually assaulted the victim after (an) argument,” Wilbanks wrote in an email at the time of Bush’s arrest.
The victim was later examined at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
