Local emergency personnel said they have recovered the body of an adult male from a park on Lake Lanier in North Forsyth County. The body was reportedly fully submerged when units from the Forsyth County Fire Department retrieved it from just off the bridge at Browns Bridge Road, Ga.369 in Six Mile Creek Park, according to Robin Regan, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. The bridge is the most westward of the Lake Lanier overpasses while traveling on Ga. 369.
