Hall County will begin its employee furlough Friday, and all administrative offices will be closed.

The Hall County Board of Commissioners implemented a countywide furlough of one unpaid day off per month to help compensate for revenue shortfalls due to the struggling economy.

All county administrative offices will be closed. However, public safety, landfill and some public works personnel, as well as poll workers at the elections office, will operate as usual.
