MINNEAPOLIS — A 25-year-old man was sentenced Monday to life in prison with a chance for parole after admitting he killed a second woman in the Twin Cities and left her body in an abandoned car. Alberto Palmer pleaded guilty in Hennepin County to first-degree murder in the killing of 24-year-old Klaressa Cook of Gainesville in Brooklyn Park in May 2013. Her body was found in a car towed to an impound lot in Minneapolis.
