A man has been transferred for medical treatment after being stabbed in Gainesville.

The Hispanic man in his mid-30s, as described by Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chad Mann, was stabbed in the Marlow Drive Mobile Home Park. The victim was conscious and alert but was bleeding heavily, Mann said, and was transported from the scene for medical treatment.

The criminal investigations division is in the process of identifying the perpetrator, Mann said.

There was no further information as of Saturday evening on the victim’s condition or identification.
