A man was sentenced to eight years behind bars in a sexual exploitation of children case, according to court documents.
Darrell Joe Eddleman, 41, took a non-negotiated plea on a 10-count indictment, and Superior Court Judge Kathlene Gosselin handed down a total 25-year sentence May 28. After the first eight years in confinement, the rest may be served on probation.
Eddleman will receive credit for time served since March 2018.
The indictment alleged possession of digital media involving children and sexually explicit conduct.
Defense attorney Larry Duttweiler did not return a request for comment.
Eddleman will be subject to the sex offender conditions of probation.
