A man found dead in a parking lot Friday died of natural causes, authorities said Monday.

Franklin Stringer, 47, of Flowery Branch died from cardiac arrest, said Joe Britte, public information officer for the Gainesville Police Department.

Stringer was found unresponsive in the parking lot of the BP on Athens Highway around 4 a.m.
