An argument over fireworks being set off led to an East Hall man getting charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct.

Gregory Aaron Bryant, 55, is accused of pointing a BB-type rifle at four people, according to a Hall County Sheriff’s Office press release.

No one was injured in the incident, but the BB rifle was believed by one of the victims to be a shotgun, the sheriff’s office said.

“It is not known what, if any, relationship exists between Mr. Bryant and the victims in this case,” according to the press release.

Deputies arrested Bryant shortly after 10:50 p.m. Friday, June 7, at a home in the 3700 block of Renee Circle, which is off Harmony Church Road.

Bryant has since posted bond on the charges.

The case remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
