Lumpkin County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Seth Stephen Thompson, 20, of Dahlonega on Sunday in connection with a burglary of a home on Crabapple Road.

Thompson was caught in the act by the victim and two other witnesses, officials said. In addition to eyewitness accounts, fingerprints and blood collected from the scene will be compared with Thompson’s fingerprints and DNA.

Thompson was charged with one count of burglary and is currently being held in the Lumpkin County Detention Center.
