Two people died Thursday afternoon in a two-car wreck in Lumpkin County, according to the county coroner.
Larry Banister said Bobby Mixon, 72, and his wife, Jeanette, 70, of Dahlonega died from injuries suffered in a wreck at the intersection of Cavender Creek and Rail Hill roads.
Georgia State Patrol’s Cumming post is investigating the accident. The report was not available Friday evening.
Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
