A man injured when he struck a tree while pulling his vehicle into the driveway at his home on Belton Bridge Road on Saturday has died.

Michael Todd Deaton, 44, of Lula, died at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

The wreck happened near Forrester Road at 7:15 p.m. He died later that night, Hall County Coroner Marion Merck said.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the wreck. Further details weren’t available Monday.
