Purple Heart recipient and 2011 Chestatee High School graduate Lance Cpl. Sean Adams returned home to a hero’s welcome Friday. Hundreds of well-wishers joined his family at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport to greet Adams, 19, who was severely injured by a roadside bomb in February while serving as an engineer in the U.S. Marine Corps in Afghanistan. The blast took both his legs and nearly his life.
