A loader worth an estimated $125,000 was heavily damaged in a Monday night fire in South Hall.

Hall County firefighters responded to a commercial fire on Radford Road in South Hall late Monday night.

No injuries were reported at ReConserve Georgia, and a loader worth an estimated $125,000 was heavily damaged, Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett wrote in an email Monday night. The Flowery Branch business is a recycler of food byproducts, according to its website.

Brackett said the fire originated from the loader, which is used to move product, and the cause was electrical. Brackett said the fire was determined to be accidental. Sprinklers at the business activated during the fire.

“The first arriving units reported a large commercial structure with heavy smoke showing from the rear of the structure,” Brackett wrote in an email. “Personnel made an aggressive interior attack and extinguished the fire quickly.”
