A rezoning proposal that calls for retail and residential development at the busy intersection of Ledan and Sardis roads in northwest Hall County has been postponed to January. The Hall County Planning Commission voted Monday to delay action on S.P. McKibbon Sr. LLLP’s proposal, which calls for rezoning 22 acres for stores and eight residential lots connected by a public street. Initially, the board was looking at delaying action until after this summer’s completion of Hall County’s comprehensive land-use plan — a sticking point with some residents.
