A one-vehicle wreck Sunday night in White County killed a passenger and sent the driver to an Atlanta hospital.

Georgia State Patrol Trooper Scott Atwood said the car was traveling south on Ga. 75 down the mountain when it crossed the center line and went off the right shoulder and struck a tree about 8:15 p.m.

Florence Zerbe of Lawrenceville was pronounced dead at the scene, and Jess Zerbe was flown to Atlanta Medical Center, Atwood said

No charges have been filed, he said.
