The Georgia Department of Labor will continue to help Lanier Islands Resort recruit seasonal and permanent workers this Saturday. The recruitment, the second in a series of three, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.

GDOL staff will be on site to help screen the applicants. A third recruitment will be held March 26. A similar event was held last week.

The company is recruiting admissions clerks, bartenders, concession stand operators, front desk personnel, lifeguards, pool attendants, security guards, servers and retail associates, among others.

Job seekers must be at least 16 years old to apply. Applicants should bring a resume, military identification card and a driver’s license, and they should dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.

While some positions require no experience, it is preferred for most positions.

Salaries will depend on the position and will be discussed with the applicant during the interview with the employer.

Job seekers planning to attend the recruitment are encouraged to visit www.employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload or create a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account and resume expedites the interview process.

For additional information about the recruitments, contact the GDOL’s Gainesville Career Center at 770-535-5484.
