Lane closures are expected through next week on Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch between the Interstate 985 southbound and northbound ramps, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

Nightly single lane closures are required to allow for painting of the steel bridge that goes over Spout Springs Road.

Lane closures are expected from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, weather permitting.

The DOT cautions drivers heading through a work zone to obey traffic rules, stay alert, slow down and watch for workers.
