An event to mark the installation of solar-powered lights on hazard markers on Lake Lanier has been moved to Friday due to the weather forecast. Elected officials, representatives from the Lake Lanier Association and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will gather at 1 p.m. at Tidwell Park in Forsyth County. The association, a nonprofit advocacy group focused on the lake, began the effort to provide more nighttime lighting.
