The 2016 state legislative session is winding down and a few under-the-radar bills are nearing a resolution. TAX REFORM Rep. Emory Dunahoo, R-Gainesville, said he is preparing to file a bill that would push Georgia toward a flat tax on sales and zero-out the state’s income tax. The bill is being vetted now and likely will be taken up for consideration next year.
