It took some time for Jubilee Farm, a community garden located at the corner of Davis and Pine streets in the industrial area of Gainesville, to begin sprouting. The land was once a gravel parking lot, after all, so getting the soil conditions right was a somewhat monumental task. But for the city's homeless and hungry, the wait was worth it.
