Jasper Police want help finding a Gainesville man accused of robbing a Waffle House early Saturday.

William Timothy Myers, 29, asked for the money from the cash register in a threatening manner and left the 239 Interstate South Drive restaurant with more than $500, Lt. Matt Dawkins said.

Myers has a Ralph Lauren logo tattoo on the left side of his face and the letters “TH,” which stands for Tommy Hilfiger, in cursive between his eyes, plus numbers down the right side of his face and other tattoos, authorities said.

Dawkins estimated Myers, who goes by the nickname “Polo,” is about 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs close to 300 pounds.

“Hopefully we can get him apprehended,” Dawkins said.

Police said this is the first time the restaurant staff had seen Myers.

Dawkins said anyone who sees Myers should call 911 or Jasper Police at 706-692-9110. They can ask for Dawkins or leave information with whoever picks up the phone at the Jasper Police Department.

Dawkins said residents should not approach Myers as he may be armed.
