Humane Society offers rabies clinic, fundraiser

The Humane Society of Hall County has scheduled its 12th annual Kennel Caper & Rabies Clinic for Saturday and Sunday at Walmart, 400 Shallowford Road in Gainesville.

The society aims to raise $12,721 between 8 a.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, the figure representing $1 for each animal the agency took in last year.

Raffles and food will be offered both days, with music by JB Jams from from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Dr. Becky Shelton’s Mobile Veterinary Service will provide a rabies clinic from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. Shots will be offered for $10 each; animals must be leashed or crated for their protection.
