A website and Facebook page have been launched promoting a 509-acre, nearly 2,000-home development in South Hall.
The website, reveillega.com, touts the community as “Southern coastal-inspired living and so much more.” The Facebook page, facebook.com/reveillega, describes Reveille as a “premier place to live, work, stay and play like nothing the area has ever seen.”
The development would be at 5445 and 5601 Old Winder Highway/Ga. 211 at Union Church Road, near Braselton.
“These digital platforms were created to provide an easy way for residents to learn more about the historic town center design and exciting community amenities this mixed-use proposal will bring to the area,” according to a press release.
The Hall County Planning Commission recommended approval of the project on May 20. The proposal now goes before the Hall County Board of Commissioners on June 13 for a public hearing and final vote.
Rotunda Land & Development Group LLC is looking to build 1,969 homes over 6-8 years at the site, but plans also call for 482,415 square feet in retail space, 8.4 acres in outparcel development and a 175-unit hotel.
