Firefighters responded to a report of a lightning-caused house fire Monday evening. A caller reported a lightning strike caused a fire at a house in the 6100 block of Old Dahlonega Highway at about 6:19 p.m., Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said. Firefighters found a 5,0000-square-foot house with heavy fire showing from the basement/rear.
