The Wardrop family had to go halfway across the country to find a place for their son with special needs, but now that they’ve found one, they’re not going anywhere. “It’s been a rough road,” Amy Wardrop said of her son Josiah’s journey into young adulthood. Between ages 3 and 4, Josiah Wardrop was diagnosed with a cognitive disability and autism.
