Insure Georgia is holding an enrollment event Saturday at the Gainesville Civic Center to help families with the open enrollment process for the Affordable Care Act.

The event is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

“Licensed navigators will be on hand to provide education on health coverage options, answer any questions about individuals’ needs and enroll interested consumers in a plan that works for them,” said a press release from the group. “With several major health insurance carriers dropping out of the health insurance marketplace, it is important that consumers know exactly what they are signing up for.”

The Gainesville event is one of nine stops in Insure Georgia’s #GetCoveredGA statewide tour.

Open enrollment through the health insurance marketplace runs from Nov. 1 through Jan. 1.
