A handgun training event, “Taking Aim at Human Trafficking,” will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 23 in Gainesville. The event will be held at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center, 1855 Calvary Church Road and will feature over 50 vendors, food and a surprise guest speaker. Holly Lynch, a Gainesville native who started a home for underprivileged and exploited girls in Central America, also will fly in from Costa Rica to speak at the event.
